This Sleepme Dock Pro review is for US buyers who wake hot and want water under the sheet without a yearly Autopilot bill. Dual-zone kits exist if you share a bed.

Skip it if you live in the UK and expected a local shop. Skip it if you want the quieter 2.0 remote and washable cover. Skip it if you need a clinic test. A water pad cannot replace that.

What this Sleepme Dock Pro review means by 1.0

On the official comparison page the middle column is “Formerly Chilipad Dock Pro” and “Chilipad 1.0.” The product page says “Formally known as Chilipad Dock Pro.” Same generation. New label.

Chilipad 2.0 keeps the 55–115°F (13–46°C) water range. It adds a nightstand remote, in-bed detection, a unzippable cover, and a two-year limited warranty. 1.0 keeps the older dock and mesh topper. If you click the wrong tile, you will buy the wrong hose.

Sleep Foundation updated a Chilipad page on 1 July 2026 and priced 2.0 from $1,599 for a single-zone Full, up to $3,198 for some dual-zone King sizes. That table is 2.0, not Dock Pro. Do not paste it onto 1.0.

Pricing in this Sleepme Dock Pro review

If you pay $1,299 and skip extras, year one is $1,299 plus tax and any extended-warranty add-on. If the sale tile at $1,874 is the SKU you actually see, use that number instead. We cannot invent a queen or king cell the shop would not hold still.

There is no $299 Autopilot line on the copy we opened. Twelve-month software cost is $0 if you stay on the free app. The privacy policy still allows future “premium features.” Core manual controls are supposed to keep working offline.

Year two is electricity, distilled water, and cleaner packets. We did not measure kilowatt-hours, so we omit a running-cost figure.

UK landed cost would include a forwarder, import tax, and a plug adapter. Sleepme will not quote that. We will not guess it.

How the system is supposed to work

A mesh pad sits on the mattress. A dock on the floor chills or heats water and pumps it through channels. You set a temperature on the dock or in the Chilipad app. Dual-zone kits give each sleeper a loop.

The comparison page called 1.0 fan noise “moderate” and 2.0 “whisper quiet.” Those are manufacturer adjectives. We did not put a meter on the floor.

Warm Awake is a scheduled temperature rise. It is not a medical circadian therapy. A sunrise lamp such as Hatch is a different tool. An under-mattress log such as the Withings Sleep Analyzer is a third tool. Do not expect Dock Pro to do all three jobs.

Privacy and data

Sleep Solutions Inc.’s privacy policy, last updated 18 August 2023 on the page we opened, covers sleep.me and the apps. It can collect contact details, payment data, sleep tracking fields, height and weight, and Wi-Fi network names and passwords.

The dock can send model, serial, software version, temperature settings, runtime, and power use. Cookies and Google Analytics run on the site. The firm lists marketing affiliates and advertising networks among disclosure recipients.

If you link a third-party health app, that app’s policy also applies. Shared-device invites can expose controls to another user. Read the live policy before you type a Wi-Fi password into a bedroom gadget.

Short sleep still changes appetite. That is biology, not a pad setting. See sleep and weight regulation. If evening desk time is the leak, a five-minute desk mobility routine is cheaper than a dock.

What independent pages actually said

Sleep Foundation’s July 2026 Chilipad write-up is useful for 2.0 prices and the no-subscription line. It is not a Dock Pro lab night. Third-party blogs still use the Dock Pro name and quote older “Me” and “We” bundles. Those figures did not match the official tiles we opened, so we do not repeat them as current MSRP.

We found no PubMed paper that names Chilipad Dock Pro against polysomnography. Absence is not proof the pad is useless for heat. It is proof you should not buy it as a sleep-stage instrument.

AASM 2018 still applies. Uncleared consumer tools cannot diagnose or treat a sleep disorder. NHS sleep apnoea pages start with gasping, pauses, and unsafe sleepiness.

What remains unverified

This Sleepme Dock Pro review did not time the pump or weigh refill intervals. We did not confirm remaining 1.0 stock. We did not recapture a retailer star count.

Skip the whole category if a nightly gadget will keep you up. Heat is a real complaint. A score is optional.
