This Mira Fertility review is for people deciding whether Quanovate’s urine-hormone analyser and wand kit is worth the hardware bill. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. Shop pages, Apple, Play and named papers were captured on 13 September 2026. We did not dip a wand.
Who this Mira Fertility review is for

Download Mira Fertility & Cycle Tracker on the App Store · Get Mira Fertility & Cycle Tracker on Google Play
Stay if you want numeric urine LH, E3G and, with other wands, PdG or FSH, and you will pay for consumables every cycle. Stay if you will treat the chart as a home trend, not a diagnosis of PCOS or ovarian reserve.
Skip it if you only need a period calendar. Skip it if you need contraception. Skip it if wand cost will make you stop testing mid-cycle.
The wider shortlist sits at best fertility apps. A cheaper strip-plus-camera path is in our Premom review. A four-hormone reader with no app fee is in Inito review. A symptothermal diary without hardware is in Fertility Friend review.
Dated hardware and store facts
The US shop page we opened listed a fluorescent analyser that reads Plus wands (LH + E3G) in about 16 minutes. Other wand families on the same site include Confirm (PdG), Ovum (FSH) and Ultra4 (LH, E3G, PdG, FSH). Compatibility copy said iOS 10+ and Android 5+. Those are manufacturer lines.
Shop footnotes say “up to 99.5% accuracy in hormone detection” comes from a 2025 MiraLabs side-by-side of wand readings versus other quantitative home trackers. The same footnote says those figures are technical alignment with lab values, not ovulation-prediction accuracy. Marketing “84% pregnant in six cycles” sits on a self-reported survey of 572 users. That is not a randomised trial.
Unopened kits may be returned within 30 days of delivery. The Max starter-kit page we read named a one-year limited warranty on the analyser.

| Validation studies | Bouchard et al. RBMO 2026: ultrasound, 121 ovulatory cycles, 96% of ovulations within ±1 day of Mira LH peak. 2024 Medicina serum/ultrasound n = 4 women (3 used Mira). MiraLabs 2025 is internal. |
| Regulatory status | Manufacturer: FDA-registered / FDA-listed. Shop: not a diagnostic or contraceptive device. We did not treat third-party “FDA cleared” copy as verified. |
Mira Fertility price and twelve-month cost
This Mira Fertility review splits US shop dollars from any UK tile you actually see. Duty and VAT can change an international cart.
The US Basic sale at $139 covers the analyser and 10 Plus wands. If you test one cycle a month and use 15 wands, you will buy more boxes. We did not lock a dated 2026 refill price, so we will not invent a $X first year. Check the live wand page before you budget.
There is no app subscription on the US listing. Twelve months of Mira is hardware plus wands, not a Plus plan. We did not complete a checkout.
Privacy and Data Safety
Quanovate’s general privacy policy, last updated 15 June 2026, lists identifiers, medical information, commercial data, geolocation and app activity among the categories it may collect. It has a separate consumer-health notice for some US states and UK/EEA rights pages.
Apple’s privacy label on the day we opened it listed identifiers that may be used to track you across other companies’ apps. The US listing also says the app has no ads and no in-app purchases. Those sentences can both be true. Developer forms are not audits.
Hormone values are health data. Export a copy if you want a file you control. Deleting the icon is not the same as deleting the account.

What published studies actually measured
Bouchard, Fehring and colleagues (Reproductive BioMedicine Online, 2026) ran a prospective, blinded diagnostic-accuracy study. Fifty-two women aged 19–44 with regular 24–38 day cycles contributed 153 cycles. The analysed set was 49 women and 121 ovulatory cycles with enough Mira and ultrasound data. Serial transvaginal ultrasound was the reference (890 scans in the paper’s design summary). Mira LH peak day was strongly associated with ultrasound ovulation day (R² = 0.96). The authors reported 96% of ovulations within ±1 day of that peak. First-morning urine hormones also associated with same-morning serum when draws were close in time. Anovulatory cycles still appeared in 11% of these regularly cycling volunteers. The cohort excluded PCOS and other irregular-cycle groups named in the protocol.
A 2024 Medicina paper compared daily serum hormones and ultrasound in four women; three of those cycles also used Mira. Urinary pairs helped mark the ovulation-to-luteal transition. Four cycles are a pilot, not a 2026 product certificate.
A 2025 postpartum and perimenopause Mira paper compared the analyser with the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, not with ultrasound.
Shop “99.5%” and “7× more accurate” lines belong to MiraLabs’ 2025 internal comparison. They are not the RBMO ultrasound result.
NHS advice on trying to conceive still starts with age and when to see a GP. A wand chart can help that visit. It cannot finish it. Mira’s own disclaimer says results are not meant to diagnose PCOS or other conditions.
What remains unverified
This Mira Fertility review did not time wand failures or Bluetooth drops. We did not recapture Amazon stars. We did not lock a UK pound price from a checkout we completed.
We did not find a large ultrasound series in people with PCOS, even though shop copy markets irregular cycles. The 2026 RBMO cohort was regularly cycling.
Wand lots and app builds move. A 2026 paper does not vouch for every 2027 wand.
Who should skip Mira
Skip the analyser if you only need LH lines. A strip app may be enough. Skip it if you wanted contraception and bought a monitor by mistake. For an app sold as contraception, see Natural Cycles review.
This Mira Fertility review lands here: useful when you will pay for wands and want a number next to a clinic conversation. Poor fit when you needed a diagnosis or a birth-control method and bought a home analyser instead.
