Premom Review Ovulation Tracking, Tests and Premium Explained

This Premom review is for people deciding whether Easy Healthcare’s ovulation-test scanner and cycle diary is worth a Premium bill. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. Apple, Play, premom.com and named papers were captured on 13 September 2026. We did not scan a strip or log a cycle.

Stay if you already buy Easy@Home or Premom LH strips and want a camera reader plus a calendar. Stay if you will treat Low / High / Peak labels as a urine LH hint, not a clinic result.

Skip it if you need contraception. Skip it if Premium banners will make you stop logging — June 2026 Play notes called the upsell “crazy.” Skip it if you want a charting app that says it does not sell or share data.

Dated features and store facts

The US App Store page we opened listed ovulation-test scanning, automatic BBT charting, Apple Health import for wrist or BBT temps, a period calendar, 50-plus symptom tags, pregnancy mode, partner “Predad” invites, Ask an Expert and Premium cycle reports. Play copy matched the scanner and FastPass path. Those are store claims, not our counts.

Premom Premium’s marketing page lists physician-designed cycle reports, webinars and Ask an Expert. The manufacturer also prints pregnancy-rate claims from internal analytics of 1.73 million accounts. That is not a published trial. We do not treat it as proof that Premium raises the chance of a birth.

A camera read is only as good as the strip, the lighting and the urine sample. It is not a serum LH assay.

Premom price and twelve-month cost

The Apple grids we opened listed several Premium rows without a month-or-year label. We will not guess which tile is monthly. We cannot print an honest 12-month total from that list.

Open the in-app paywall. Premom’s membership page says you subscribe inside the app and that Easy Healthcare does not manage the store charge. Cancel in Apple or Google settings if you only wanted a first month.

We did not complete a purchase. We cannot say which SKU a new account sees first. Strip kits sold on Amazon or premom.com are a separate hardware bill. We did not copy a dated 2026 kit price we trust, so we omit one.

Privacy and Data Safety

Easy Healthcare’s privacy policy, last updated 16 February 2026, says it collects cycle dates, test photos, BBT, medications, sexual activity and other health fields. It names processors for payments, analytics, messaging and ads. It also says it may market third-party products.

Play Data Safety on the day we opened it said the app may share location, personal info and five other types. It may collect those plus more. Data is encrypted in transit. You can request deletion. Apple’s label listed health, email, name and sensitive info as linked data used for the developer’s advertising or marketing. Developer forms are not audits.

In May 2023 the US FTC said Easy Healthcare shared identifiable Premom health data with Google and AppsFlyer, and earlier with Umeng and Jiguang. A proposed order would bar sharing health data for advertising. Read the live 2026 policy. A 2023 order is not proof that today’s SDKs are quiet.

Export a copy if you want a file you control. Deleting the icon is not the same as deleting the account. If training pain is the real issue, see exercise warning signs.

What published studies actually measured

Duane, Bouchard, Reno and colleagues (Medicina, 2023) randomised 30 women to quantitative Premom LH strips or qualitative Easy@Home strips. They compared peak days with the Clearblue Fertility Monitor across three cycles. Peak estimates correlated strongly (R = 0.99, p < 0.001). Users still rated Clearblue easier. The authors called it a pilot and asked for a larger, more diverse sample. They did not test the app as contraception. They did not use ultrasound as the reference.

Morgan-Ortiz and colleagues (Fertility and Sterility, 2024) compared five one-step OPKs with blood LH above 25 mIU/mL in 23 people over 97 test days. Easy@Home concordance was 95.88%, with 75% sensitivity and 100% specificity in that small set. That paper tested the strip as a one-step kit, not the Premom camera reader. Thirteen people had a documented blood surge.

Those papers support LH-surge detection against another home monitor or a blood threshold. They do not prove a 2026 Premium forecast and they do not replace clinic care.

NHS advice on trying to conceive still starts with timing, age and when to see a GP — usually after a year of regular sex, or sooner if you are 36 or over or already know a problem. An app diary can help that visit. It cannot finish it.

What remains unverified

This Premom review did not time how often Premium banners appear. We did not score camera reads against a lab. We did not recapture a Play install band. We did not open every IAP tile to learn its term.

Manufacturer lines about “1.5 million” logged pregnancies are self-report. Internal “229% higher” Premium rates are marketing analytics. We omit them as clinical proof.

Firmware and paywalls move. A 2023 pilot of 30 cycles does not vouch for every 2026 scan.

Who should skip Premom

Skip Premium if you only need a period reminder and strip photos. Skip the app if you wanted a contraceptive and bought a TTC scanner.
