This GOWOD review covers the French mobility app from public store listings, the company FAQ, and its privacy policy. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. Prices and ratings below were captured on 13 September 2026 and can change by country.
Who this GOWOD review is for
Use this page if you want one product, not a category tour. A GOWOD review should stay on this app. GOWOD suits people who already train a named sport and want a short mobility block that follows that sport. The company FAQ lists Activate, Recover, and Daily flows. It also lists Classic flows and per-body-zone sessions.
Skip it if you want a teacher talking you through every hold. Several older Play reviews asked for voice cues. The listing we fetched still describes video-led holds, not a voice coach. If you want follow-along talk, read our Pliability review or the GOWOD vs Pliability comparison.
Also skip it if you need a diagnosis. A mobility score is not a physio exam. One UK App Store review from February 2025 said a hip score sent them down the wrong path until a clinician checked the quads. That is a single story, not a trial. It is still a reason to treat the test as a prompt.

Dated specs from the stores
This GOWOD review dates the public specs. Mobility First Group publishes GOWOD for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The US App Store page captured on 13 September 2026 listed version 5.11.2, dated 11 August. It asked for iOS 16.4 or later. Size was 112.5 MB. Languages were English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Age rating was 4+.
Google Play, same capture date, showed an update on 10 August 2026 and the same welcome-screen notes. The Play header showed 4.3 stars from 6.54K reviews. The reviews pane showed 4.4 from 6.4K. We report both. Public Play pages and AppBrain both placed Android installs in the 500K+ band.

GOWOD price and a 12-month bill
A GOWOD review has to split UK and US prices. Apple’s US in-app list on 13 September 2026 priced Premium at $13.99 a month or $124.99 a year. Twelve monthly renewals would be $167.88 before tax if that rate held. The yearly SKU saves about $43 against that path. A six-month SKU sat at $83.90.
The UK App Store showed £9.99 a month or £89.99 a year. Twelve monthly renewals would be £119.88. The yearly SKU is the cheaper 12-month path if you already know you will stay. Promo “BF” rows also appeared. Those look like sale SKUs. Check the live sheet before you pay.
The company pricing page did not render a usable Premium number in our fetch. The shop page showed a $124.99 gift year against a $167.88 strike. That matches the US yearly IAP and a 12-month monthly sum. Play did not print a clean IAP table in the page we fetched. An old Play review mentioned $10 a month. That is stale. Use the store you will pay through.
Cancel on the same store you used. The FAQ says Apple, Google, or the website each have their own switch. Cancel during the 7-day trial and the FAQ says you should not be billed. After that, access runs to the end of the paid period.
What the app actually offers
The FAQ describes a 10-move test that takes about 12 to 15 minutes. It scores shoulders, overhead, thorax, hips, posterior chain, and ankles. You get one free test. Premium unlocks a monthly retest. The FAQ tells you to test at least two hours after waking, without a prior session.
Premium then builds Activate work before training, Recover work after, and Daily flows for longer-term range. Activate mixes dynamic moves, short static holds, and self-massage. Recover is self-massage only. Daily flows follow your sport focuses and the time you set. You can also build and share custom protocols from the library.
The store copy names more than 50 sports, including CrossFit, running, triathlon, Hyrox, trail running, and bodybuilding. That is a tagging system. It is not a coach in the room. Some users like the sport match. Others, including a 2023 UK review, called post-session Recover work gear-heavy. Bands, a roller, or a ball can appear. The app does not replace a no-equipment full-body home workout.

GOWOD privacy in plain language
GOWOD privacy sits on a French company policy. The privacy policy names GOWOD in Montpellier as controller. It lists name, email, photo, date of birth, gender, sports, gym affiliation, flexibility scores, payment data, and connection data. EU user data is stored in the EU. Data for users outside the EU is stored in the United States. This GOWOD review does not invent extra Data Safety rows.
Apple’s privacy label, captured 13 September 2026, said contact info may be linked to you for personalisation. Usage and diagnostics may be collected but not linked. Play’s Data Safety form said the app may share activity, performance, and device IDs with third parties. It may collect personal info and health and fitness data. Data is encrypted in transit. You can request deletion.
The policy also allows sharing some data with a gym or coach if you consent. That is useful in a box. It is a reason to read the toggle before you tap yes. Rights requests go to [email protected]. EU users can complain to the CNIL.
What reviews measured, and what stays unverified
GOWOD ratings are store popularity, not lab accuracy. Apple US sat at 4.8 from 3.3K ratings on 13 September 2026. Play sat near 4.3 from about 6,500 reviews. Praise often cites the test-and-protocol loop. Complaints cite hard “easy” moves, missing skip-forever controls, and older timer bugs. A GOWOD review that blended those stores into one score would hide the gap.
A March 2026 Feeling Better comparison said GOWOD felt more self-directed than Pliability and listed more sports. That is one editor’s view, not our test. We did not find a PubMed trial of GOWOD’s score. The pricing page’s 18% gain in 60 days is a company line. NHS flexibility pages still give no required weekly minute count for stretching. They list stretching as one flexibility option beside yoga, tai chi, and Pilates.
Who should skip GOWOD
Skip Premium if you only want a handful of holds and will not retest. The free library may be enough. Skip the app if sharp joint pain is the main story. Book a clinician. This GOWOD review is not a treatment plan. For a wider shortlist see best stretching apps. For a calmer illustration-and-timer style, see the Bend review.
If you want Kelly Starrett-style mobilisations with a pain map, see The Ready State review. If you want splits classes with a teacher on video, see the STRETCHIT review.
