This Inito review is for people deciding whether Samplytics’ wireless urine-hormone reader and strip kit is worth the hardware bill. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. inito.com, Apple and named papers were captured on 13 September 2026. We did not dip a strip.

Download Inito Fertility Monitor on the App Store
Stay if you want numeric E3G, LH, PdG and FSH at home and you will pay for strips every cycle. Stay if a missing app fee matters more than a missing ultrasound paper.
Skip it if you only need a period calendar. Skip it if you need contraception. Skip it if 15 strips will run out before you catch a late surge — a 2024 Apple note described that gap on long cycles.
The wider shortlist sits at best fertility apps. Another quantitative reader is in our Mira Fertility review. A camera-and-strip path is in Premom review. A thermometer chart without urine tests is in Fertility Friend review.
Dated hardware and store facts
The buy page we opened listed a standalone Wi-Fi reader. Steps were: dip 15 seconds, insert the strip, wait about 10 minutes, read the app. Copy said iOS and Android. Older listings were iPhone-clip only. Confirm the live kit matches your phone before you pay.
Inito’s cost blog splits a one-time reader from ongoing strips. It says the 15-strip pack is usually enough for one cycle for most users and names a 20-strip pack at $79 for alpha and beta LH. We did not see that $79 row on the buy page we fetched, so treat it as blog copy until checkout shows it.
Return rules on inito.com apply to inito.com and in-app orders. Amazon follows Amazon. Subscription returns after the first two may add a $15 processing fee. Return requests sit inside 30 days of delivery on that page. A limited warranty covers named devices; we did not copy a year-length we trust from the excerpt, so we omit one.

Inito price and twelve-month cost
This Inito review uses US dollars from inito.com. Tax and shipping can change checkout. We did not see an official UK list price on that site.
If the $119 sale kit is the tile you see, the first cycle’s hardware and 15 strips cost $119. Twelve later cycles at $49 a pack cost $588. First-year hardware plus those packs is about $707 before tax. Subscribe & Save at $44.10 would be $529.20 for 12 refill packs, or about $648.20 with the kit. That math follows the blog’s one-pack-per-cycle hint. It is an estimate. Long cycles can burn more strips.
There is no monthly app fee on the pages we read. Twelve months of Inito is reader plus urine strips. We did not complete a purchase.
Privacy and Data Safety
Inito’s privacy notice says it collects fertility-related data, medications, symptoms and other family-planning fields. It lists service providers, analytics partners and, for some uses, personalised advertising with an opt-out. It also says anonymised fertility data may go to researchers and may train AI models, including test images and usage patterns.
Apple’s label on the day we opened it listed name, email and phone as linked contact info. Health, identifiers, usage, sensitive info and diagnostics were listed as not linked to your identity. Developer forms are not audits.
Hormone values are health data. Export a copy if you want a file you control. Deleting the icon is not the same as deleting the account.
If training pain is the issue you meant to solve, see exercise warning signs.
What published studies actually measured
Pattnaik, Das and Venkatesan (Scientific Reports, 2023) compared Inito urinary E3G, PdG and LH with laboratory ELISA. One hundred women aged 21–45 with fairly regular cycles gave daily first-morning urine. A second group of 52 used the monitor at home. The paper reported average coefficients of variation of 5.05% (PdG), 4.95% (E3G) and 5.57% (LH) and a high correlation with ELISA. It also described a novel ovulation-confirmation rule with 100% specificity and an ROC AUC of 0.98 in that dataset. Corresponding authors sat at Samplytics and Inito. The reference was ELISA, not transvaginal ultrasound. The sample excluded diagnosed infertility.
An ESHRE 2026 abstract on quantitative home monitors noted that devices such as Inito had not yet been validated with ultrasound-confirmed ovulation in that group’s programme. That sentence is about a research gap. It is not a ban on buying the reader.
NHS advice on trying to conceive still starts with age and when to see a GP. A strip chart can help that visit. It cannot finish it. Inito’s App Store note says the product is not intended to diagnose or treat infertility.
What remains unverified
This Inito review did not time Wi-Fi drops or afternoon LH misses. We did not recapture Amazon stars. We did not lock a UK pound price from a checkout we completed.
We did not find a large independent ultrasound series. The 2023 paper is company-affiliated. MAUDE files exist for the device class; one voluntary report is not an error rate.
Strip lots and app builds move. A 2023 ELISA paper does not vouch for every 2026 lot.
Who should skip Inito
Skip the reader if you only need LH lines. Skip it if you wanted contraception and bought a monitor by mistake. For an app sold as contraception, see Natural Cycles review.
This Inito review lands here: useful when you will pay for strips and want four urine numbers next to a clinic conversation. Poor fit when you needed a diagnosis or a birth-control method and bought a home reader instead.
