This Centr review is for people who want a filmed strength membership with recipes and need the dated price, not the Thor slogan. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. Store pages, Centr’s help centre and the June 2023 privacy policy were captured on 13 September 2026.
Who this Centr review is for

Download Centr: Strength & Fitness App on the App Store · Get Centr: Strength & Fitness App on Google Play
Pick Centr if you want a daily video and a meal list in one login. The US listing covers strength, HIIT, pilates, yoga, boxing, MMA, hybrid work and a HYROX-branded 12-week plan. Sessions are listed from 5 to 60 minutes.
Skip it if a free filmed shelf is enough. Nike Training Club still charges $0. Skip Centr if you want the app to write every set from last week’s loads. That is closer to the Freeletics review.
Also skip the membership if you will not cook from the plan. The recipes are a large part of the fee. A no-equipment full-body home workout costs nothing if you only need the lifts.
What the public listing actually includes
The US App Store listing (id 1382530817) is a free download with in-app purchases. The seller is CH Digital Pty Ltd. It requires iOS 15 or later and lists Apple Watch on watchOS 7 or later. Size was 401 MB. Age rating is 13+ with infrequent medical-treatment information.
Version 10.7.0 was dated 31 August 2026. The note mentioned coaching audio that stops when a session ends and clearer casting messages. Google Play (com.centr.app) showed a 17 August 2026 update, Wear OS and casting, and an Everyone rating.
Store copy names Luke Zocchi and a long coach roster. It also claims the first HYROX-certified training programme. That is manufacturer language. The help centre says monthly, quarterly and annual plans all unlock the same catalogue. Where you subscribe — centr.com, Apple or Google — changes who handles cancel and refunds.
A 16 April 2026 Play review said workouts were hard to customise and the meal plan was hard to edit. Centr replied that it would pass the note on. Treat that as a product-risk flag if you need a blank diary.
Centr review of price and 12-month cost
On 13 September 2026 the US App Store IAP list showed 1 Month (Standard) at $29.99, 3 Months (Standard) at $59.99 and 12 Months (Standard) at $119.99. Other rows included $15.99, $19.99, $47.99 and $152.99. Those look like foundation, promo or legacy SKUs. New buyers should assume the $29.99 / $119.99 pair unless checkout says otherwise.
The UK listing showed 1 Month (Standard) at £22.99 and 12 Months (Standard) at £93.99. Other rows included £12.49, £15.49, £36.99, £44.99 and a £69.99 Black Friday year. Do not treat the dollar pair as pounds.
A 12-month US cost is $119.99 on the yearly SKU, or 12 × $29.99 = $359.88 on monthly billing. A 12-month UK cost is £93.99 on the standard year, or 12 × £22.99 = £275.88 on monthly billing. TechRadar’s published review also cited a $29.99 month and a lower annual cash total. Use the sheet you are shown. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Unused trial days are forfeited if you buy during the trial.

Ratings are not a trophy
A Centr review that stacked Apple and Play stars would hide the split. Twenty-one thousand US Apple ratings is a mid-size sample. The 4.8 figure sits above Play’s 4.4. UK Apple is thinner at 5.3K.
A 23 June 2026 Play review said the trainers kept the user on the app after trying AI tools. A 2023 thread about login loops is older. Version notes in 2026 still mention sign-out and casting fixes. If casting is why you would pay, confirm it on your own TV during the trial.
Store copy lists awards from CNET, Good Housekeeping, Tom’s Guide, POPSUGAR and Men’s Health. Those are magazine badges. They are not outcome data.
Centr privacy and Data Safety
Apple’s privacy label on the US listing, captured 13 September 2026, said identifiers may be used to track you. Data linked to you may include identifiers and usage. Diagnostics may be collected and not linked.
Google Play Data Safety the same day said no data is shared with third parties. The app may collect location, personal info and five other types. Data is encrypted in transit. You can request deletion.
Centr’s privacy policy, updated 30 June 2023, is longer than the store cards. It says the company collects name, contact details, date of birth, fitness and nutrition statistics, photos and purchase history. It cites the Australian Privacy Principles. If you sync a watch, open the live policy before you upload a progress photo.
What independent tests actually measured
We found no PubMed paper that tested Centr’s HYROX plan or meal engine. This Centr review therefore treats race-ready copy as marketing. TechRadar’s 2026 review described the product as a broad mobile platform and flagged the monthly cash cost. That is a journalist’s walkthrough, not a trial with a sample size.
NHS and CDC adult pages still start with weekly aerobic minutes and two days of muscle work. A shopping-list button is not a dietitian visit. HYROX branding is not a race entry.
The cluster hub is best fitness apps. For a women’s programme shelf at a different annual SKU, see the Sweat review.
How it sits next to cheaper libraries
This Centr review ends on cash versus catalogue. Centr sells fewer decisions: a daily workout, a meal list, a named coach. That is why the monthly SKU is high. Nike Training Club and FitOn still give filmed work for $0. Freeletics sells an adaptive plan without the celebrity kitchen.
Pay the year only if you will use both the videos and the recipes most weeks. Use the 7-day trial to see whether the voice-over style suits you. Older App Store notes said some “coached” videos had little talk. Confirm that on your own login.
