This Glo review is for people who want a large library of named yoga and Pilates teachers and need the real 12-month cost. Glo is YogaGlo’s on-demand membership. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test.
Who this Glo review is for
Glo suits people who already like a specific teacher and want that person on a laptop or TV. Filters for duration, level and style are the product. Prenatal, midlife and restorative paths are part of the sales copy.
Skip Glo if $245 to $360 a year is more than you will use. Skip it if you only want a generated 15-minute flow. Down Dog is cheaper on the store SKUs we captured. Skip it if you want a free filmed library; that is closer to current Alo Moves.
See the best yoga and Pilates apps table if you are still choosing a category, not a teacher.

What Glo is, on the public pages
Glo Digital Inc. sells yoga, Pilates, meditation, barre, HIIT and strength classes. The homepage captured on 13 September 2026 stated 12,000+ on-demand classes, 60+ teachers and 1.4 billion minutes practiced. Those are company figures.
The US App Store listing named 25+ styles, classes from five to 90 minutes, and more than 90 programs. Teachers named on the homepage included Jason Crandell, Elena Brower and Annie Carpenter. That is a filmed studio model, not an algorithm that builds a new sequence.
Platforms on the US listing were iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch. iOS 15.6 or later is required. Google Play listed an Android app last updated 10 September 2026. The site also sells web access.
| Field | What the listing showed |
|---|---|
| Current version + last update | iOS 7.46.20, “1 day ago” on 13 September 2026. Google Play update 10 September 2026. APKMirror showed Android 7.46.16 uploaded 18 August 2026; we treat Play’s date as the store fact. |
| Platforms | iOS 15.6+, Android, Apple TV, Apple Watch, web. Size 104.9 MB on the US App Store. |
| UK price | App Store IAP: monthly £30; quarterly £79; annual £224.99 and £249.99 listed. Taxes may apply. |
| US price | Help centre $30/month or $245/year. Apple $29.99 / $75 quarter / $244.99 year. Location can change the figure. |
| Free / trial / subscription | 7-day trial with payment details; auto-renews to a paid plan if you do not cancel. One trial per terms. |
| App Store rating + count | US 4.9 from 32K. UK 4.9 from 4.5K. Age rating 16+ (US), with health topics and unrestricted web access notes on the UK page. |
| Google Play rating + reviews | 3.8 stars beside 1.03K reviews in the header; 3.9 beside 910 in the ratings panel. Content rating Everyone. Install band not shown on the captured page. |
| Privacy / Data Safety | Play: may share and collect location, personal info and six other types; encrypted in transit; deletion requestable. Apple: advertising identifiers and advertising data linked for third-party ads. Policy at glo.com/legal/privacy-policy. |
| Sentiment source + n + date | Store figures above, 13 September 2026. Featured Play reviews include 2020 complaints about sync and mobile data downloads. |
| Core features | On-demand library, programs, filters, saved classes, downloads claimed, life-stage collections (prenatal, midlife). |
| Validation | No Glo-specific randomised trial cited here. NHS and Cochrane speak to yoga as an activity, not this catalogue. |
Glo price and the 12-month bill
Twelve months at the help-centre monthly rate is $360. The $245 annual plan saves $115, which is the figure Glo prints on the homepage. Apple’s $244.99 year is the store twin of that plan.
UK monthly £30 becomes £360 in a year. The cheaper annual SKU listed was £224.99. A second annual SKU sat at £249.99. We do not know which one a new UK account sees first. Read the checkout line.
Glo’s terms say prices can change with 30 days’ email notice in some regions. Billing currency may not match your home currency. Cancel in the same store that started the trial.
Privacy and Data Safety
Glo’s privacy policy describes IP address, device data, cookies, analytics and advertising partners. It also lists mobile attribution tools. Wellness information, the policy said, is not sold or used for targeted advertising. Other personal data still feeds analytics and ads.
Google Play’s box is blunt: the app may share location and personal info, plus six other types, with third parties. That is a wider share statement than Down Dog’s Play label.
Apple’s structured label highlighted device ID and advertising data for third-party advertising. If you do not want a meditation app in an ad graph, this membership is a weak match.
Ratings, old bugs and what reviews actually say
Apple’s US and UK scores are high and large. Google Play’s score is lower and the sample is small. Do not average 4.9 and 3.8 into a Living Outlook number. They are different stores and different user pools.
Play reviews we could read include a 2023 member who liked teachers but disliked reloads that restart a class, and 2020 notes about data downloads and weak search. Those are dated user reports. The app has been updated many times since. We did not verify whether those bugs remain.
A June 2024 UK App Store review called the membership pricey but worth it for someone far from a studio. That is one person’s value judgement, not a price audit.
What remains unverified
We did not test live classes, downloads, Roku or Amazon devices that the help centre mentions. We did not confirm the 12,000-class count. We did not measure whether programs improve sleep or hot flashes. Store copy that names those symptoms is not a clinical trial.
Accessibility features were “not yet indicated” on the US App Store page. Play’s install band was not visible on the captured page, so we omit it.
If you want a cheaper generated practice, use Down Dog. If you want freemium pose clips, see Daily Yoga. If you want apparatus Pilates, see Pilates Anytime. Quiet strength days can use a no-equipment full-body home workout.
Evidence and who should skip Glo
NHS pages list yoga and Pilates as strengthening examples. Adults still need 150 moderate minutes a week. Cochrane found only small yoga gains for chronic low back pain versus no exercise. Glo was not the intervention.
Skip Glo if you will not open the library enough to beat a drop-in class. Skip it if the Play share label bothers you. Skip it if you need a free Android app with a huge review base — Daily Yoga’s Play listing is larger, with its own privacy trade-offs.
Medical note. This article is general information, not personal medical advice. On-demand classes cannot examine you. Stop for sharp pain, fainting or chest pain. Seek urgent care for emergency symptoms. Ask a clinician before you start if you are pregnant, injured or living with a long-term condition.
