This Pilates Anytime review is for people who already want a teacher-led Pilates archive at home. It uses dated public prices, store listings and privacy labels. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test.

Choose Pilates Anytime if you miss a studio teacher and want mat, reformer or small-prop classes on a screen. Timeshift Media has run the service for years. The homepage still sells depth of teachers, not a generated flow.

Skip it if you want yin, vinyasa and meditation in one login. A best yoga and Pilates apps shortlist covers mixed libraries. Skip it if you will not pay about $24 or £20 a month on the website rate card.

It is a poor fit if you only have ten minutes and want a custom sequence. Down Dog builds that kind of practice. It is also a poor fit if you need a clinician to watch your spine.

Features the listings actually describe

The manufacturer homepage captured on 13 September 2026 listed 2,300+ mat videos, 1,000+ reformer videos, 1,000+ small-prop videos, 35+ barre fusion videos, 500+ restorative classes and 15+ challenges. Those are company counts. We did not audit the catalogue.

The US App Store copy said you can search, start from personalised picks and build playlists. It mentioned challenges and programmes. It also said the app was redesigned. Google Play’s “What’s new” note on 20 August 2026 mentioned a tablet portrait layout and bug fixes.

UK App Store version 40.3.0, notes dated 26 August 2026, listed iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It required iOS 13 or later. The US listing used the same age band of 9+ for health or wellness topics. Play listed Everyone.

Play reviewers in 2025 still argued about filters. Support replied that filters sit under Videos. That is a support reply, not our test. A November 2025 UK review said some videos felt dated. Support asked the user to email for newer titles.

Pilates Anytime price and 12-month cost

Twelve months at the US website monthly rate of $24 is $288 before tax. The $264 annual plan is the lower cash total if you stay. UK website monthly £19.99 times 12 is £239.88. The £209 annual plan is cheaper if you keep it.

Store IAP costs more. US $24.99 a month is $299.88 a year. The $264.99 annual SKU is still the better 12-month figure. UK £20.99 a month is £251.88. The £229.99 annual SKU is lower if you do not cancel early.

The help centre said app-store prices can differ from the website. That matched the listings we opened. Sign up on the site if you want the published website rate. Cancel in Apple or Google if that is where you subscribed.

Optional workshops can cost extra. A 2020 UK review mentioned a recorded running workshop at £66. We did not verify a current workshop menu. Treat extras as separate from the membership.

Store ratings and public sentiment

US App Store sentiment on 13 September 2026 was 4.9 from 8.7K ratings. UK App Store was 4.8 from 1.4K. Those are different storefronts. Do not average them.

Google Play’s header showed 4.4 stars from 784 reviews. The ratings panel showed 4.3 from 704. We report both. We do not invent an install band. The listing did not print one.

Praise in older UK reviews clustered around class variety and TV casting. Complaints clustered around weekend support, dated videos and Android login bugs. Those are user stories. They are not a lab score.

Privacy and Data Safety

Apple’s label, written by Timeshift Media, said identifiers and usage data may be used to track you across other companies’ apps and sites. Data not linked to you may include identifiers, usage data and diagnostics.

Play’s Data Safety box said the app may share app activity with third parties. It may collect location, personal info and two other types. It also said data is encrypted in transit and you can request deletion.

The privacy policy lives at pilatesanytime.com/privacy. Read it before you create an account if that matters to you. Labels are developer statements. They are not an audit.

What independent sources actually measured

We did not find a randomised trial of this membership. NHS adult guidance lists Pilates among muscle-strengthening examples. Adults still need weekly aerobic minutes. That page does not rank apps.

Marie Claire’s 2026 Pilates-app round-up named Pilates Anytime among specialist libraries. That is a magazine shortlist. It is not a performance test. WeGLOW compared itself with Pilates Anytime in a marketing article. We do not treat that as independent lab work.

If you want a mixed yoga library instead, read the Alo Moves review, the Glo review or the Daily Yoga review. For strength without apparatus, use a no-equipment full-body home workout.

What remains unverified

We did not count the videos. We did not test AirPlay, Chromecast or offline downloads. UK notes once said a 20-class download limit was removed. We did not confirm the current cap.

We did not verify Play IAP prices. We did not test whether search on Android matches the website. We did not measure whether new classes arrive weekly, as store copy claims.

Accessibility features were “not yet indicated” on the UK App Store page. That is a gap for VoiceOver users. Ask support if you need a specific control.

Who should skip it

Skip Pilates Anytime if you want a free filmed library. ALO Wellness Club now lists class access as free on the US and UK App Stores. Skip it if you want a custom 15-minute yoga sequence with no teacher face.

Skip it if you have a form-sensitive injury and no in-person teacher. A screen cannot spot a hinge at the wrong joint. Pair any home class with rest days and a clinician if pain persists.

Medical note. This article is general information, not personal medical advice. Pilates videos cannot see your joints. Stop for sharp pain, dizziness or chest pain. Seek urgent care for emergency symptoms. Ask a clinician before you start if you are pregnant, injured or living with a long-term condition.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Pilates Anytime cost?
The help centre updated 11 June 2026 listed website rates of $24 a month or $264 a year in the US, and £19.99 a month or £209 a year in the UK. App Store IAP sat a little higher on 13 September 2026. Google Play prices were not listed as a single SKU on the captured page.
Is there a free trial?
The US App Store listing advertised a 14-day free trial. The Google Play listing advertised a 7-day trial. Cancel in the same store that billed you if you do not want to continue.
Do I need a reformer?
No. The homepage counted 2,300+ mat videos as well as 1,000+ reformer videos. Mat work still needs floor space. Apparatus classes assume the kit named in the filter.
Is Pilates Anytime good for beginners?
The library includes beginner classes and challenges. It is built for people who already want Pilates language. If you want yin yoga or HIIT in the same login, look at a mixed app instead.
Does the app replace a studio teacher?
No. A video cannot see your lumbar curve or neck. Use it as a class archive. See a teacher or clinician if poses hurt.
