This Huel Daily Greens review is for people comparing a daily greens scoop with a cheaper multivitamin or a full meal powder. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. Prices and labels come from public Huel pages and named reviews captured on 13 September 2026.
Who this Huel Daily Greens review is for
Choose it if you want one flavoured drink instead of a tablet, and you already eat meals. Huel’s own formula page says Daily Greens should sit beside breakfast, not replace food. It is a different job from Huel Black Edition, which is a 400 kcal complete meal.
Skip it if you already take a multivitamin you like. Skip it if you are pregnant, nursing, or buying for a child. Huel’s cautions say the vitamin load is too high for those groups. Skip it if you have phenylketonuria. Talk to a clinician if you take medicines that interact with high-dose vitamins, herbs, or vitamin K.
People who mainly want a water habit should start with a reminder app, not a powder. See WaterMinder or the wider hydration apps and nutrition products hub. Protein still comes from food. Our protein intake guide is the better frame for that.
Dated product facts
The US formula page captured on 13 September 2026 described Original as 25 calories, 5 g carbohydrate, 0 g fat, less than 1 g protein, and 1 g fibre per 8.5 g scoop. Sugars were listed as 0 g on that panel. Vitamin C was 425 mg (472% DV). Vitamin D was 46 mcg (230% DV). Vitamin B12 was 5.0 mcg (208% DV). Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 was listed at 1 billion CFU.
Huel UK’s product page the same day listed 91 vitamins, minerals and nutrients, vegan, no artificial colours or sweeteners, and £1.50 per serving. The UK collection page also showed a ready-to-drink can at 25 kcal. Powder and cans are different SKUs. Confirm the pouch in your market. Labels are not identical across stores.

Ingredients, serving size and allergens
The US blends were small by weight. The antioxidant greens blend was 1,049 mg. The plant-protein and superfood blend was 829 mg. The superfruit blend was 646 mg. The adaptogen and mushroom complex was 155 mg. The botanical blend was 124 mg. Probiotics were 61 mg. Other ingredients included tapioca starch, natural flavours, silicon dioxide, organic stevia leaf extract and xanthan gum.
That math matters. A dietitian at Top Nutrition Coaching, writing in 2026, counted less than 2 g of “superfood” material in the scoop. The rest is mainly added vitamins and minerals. The label can still be honest. It is closer to a flavoured multivitamin than to a bowl of vegetables.
Huel lists pea fibre, pea protein, faba bean protein, gluten-free oats, chia and flax in the protein blend. The finished scoop still shows less than 1 g of protein. Do not buy it as a protein product.
Pricing and twelve-month cost
Keep UK and US tills separate. On 13 September 2026, Huel UK showed £45 a bag and £1.50 a serving. Huel US showed $45 a bag and $1.50 a serving. One bag a month for a year is £540 or $540 at those list prices, before tax.
Huel’s US help centre said subscriptions take 10% off recurring orders and can be delayed or cancelled. We did not treat a third-party “£50 one-off” figure as official. Check the basket. First-order gifts (bottle, shirt) are marketing extras, not part of the nutrition panel.
Ready-to-drink cans are another bill. A Huel US help article dated 17 June 2026 listed $32 for a 12-pack on subscription and $40 one-off. A UK help article dated 12 May 2026 listed £22 for a 12-pack on subscription and £24.50 one-off. This review’s headline prices are for powder.
What published reviews actually said
We did not taste the powder. Named pages did. Top Nutrition Coaching’s 2026 dietitian report called Daily Greens more tablet than greens. The writer flagged stevia, fillers, and a long list of health-claim lines. The same piece said some people may still want the convenience of one scoop.
talkSPORT’s shopping review quoted £45 for a 30-day supply and repeated Huel’s “91 ingredients” line. That is commerce copy, not a lab. Cool Curation’s 2026 UK write-up treated £45 as competitive against AG1’s £79 subscription, then said adaptogen doses look too small to match the papers Huel cites for those herbs.
UK Trustpilot for huel.com was 4.3 from 25,945 reviews on 13 September 2026. Reviewers talk about shakes, savoury meals and delivery as much as greens. Do not read that score as a Daily Greens rating.
Privacy, data and what remains unverified
Daily Greens has no companion app that we needed to score. Checkout still collects account data. Huel publishes a privacy policy at huel.com/pages/privacy-policy. The public page we fetched on 13 September 2026 did not yield a stable full-text capture, so we do not invent collection categories. Read the live policy before you subscribe.
If you already log drinks in Waterllama or Plant Nanny, the powder does not replace those reminders. It also does not replace vegetables.
Unverified here: live tax, the exact UK subscription percentage on today’s basket, flavour-by-flavour sugar, and any claim that 91 ingredients outperform a basic vitamin tablet in a trial. We also omitted store-star ratings because this is food, not an App Store app.
