This Bearable review is for people who want one log for symptoms, mood, medicines and habits. This is a source-reviewed guide, not a hands-on lab test. Public pages were captured on 13 September 2026.

Who this Bearable review is for

Download Bearable - Symptom Tracker on the App Store · Get Bearable - Symptom Tracker on Google Play

Choose Bearable if you already juggle pain, mood, a cycle, or a long medicine list and want one diary. Help pages say the free tier covers unlimited custom symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, medicines and a 30-day graph. Premium unlocks longer reports, the Impacts tab and unlimited goals.

Skip it if you want a cute pet or a scripted morning coach. That is closer to the Finch review or the Fabulous review. Skip it if you need a clinic diagnosis. Store copy is clear: insights are not medical advice.

The wider shortlist sits in best habit tracking apps. A simpler mood-first log is the Daylio review. A quieter journal is the Stoic review.

Dated feature snapshot

US App Store copy captured 13 September 2026 names mood, pain, migraine, IBS, PoTS, EDS, period and PCOS tracking, medicines, reminders, Apple Health and Fitbit sync, export, dark mode and restore across devices. It requires iOS 15.1 or later. English only on that sheet.

Play copy the same day also names period tracking, doctor-facing reports and optional goals. Developer listed: BEARABLE LTD, The Limes, Whetstone, London N20 9HR. Support: [email protected].

A 23 July 2025 help article splits free and Premium. Free users get 30 days of trends and a limited number of goals. Premium adds 60-, 90- and 365-day views, the correlations grid, unlimited extra notes and custom measurements. We did not run those screens.

Pricing and the 12-month bill

The download is free. The firm’s “Our Pricing and Principles” page, first posted 13 October 2020 and still showing those dollars on 13 September 2026, lists $6.99 a month or $34.99 a year. It says the year is often $18.99. A seven-day trial is named on the homepage.

If those official US list prices still apply at checkout, 12 months on the monthly plan is $83.88. Twelve months on the $34.99 year is $34.99. Twelve months on the $18.99 offer is $18.99. Those are arithmetic on the published list, not a live receipt.

UK App Store SKUs on 13 September 2026 included £6.49, £18.49 and £31.99. We will not guess which is monthly. Open the UK sheet on your account. Prices differ by country and offer.

Cancel in Apple or Google Play, not only by deleting the icon. Bearable Heroes is a named hardship path. Email [email protected] if you need that route. We did not apply for it.

Store ratings, kept apart

Do not blend the stores. US Apple: 4.8 from 5.6K. UK Apple: 4.7 from 835. US Play: 4.6 from about 10.2K to 10.4K. Capture date 13 September 2026. We do not invent a Vitality Ledger score.

Public comments praise custom lists and the lack of ads. One August 2026 Play note wanted a longer trial and Oura sync. The developer offered a one-month trial by email. Those are public remarks, not a sample we drew.

Stars mix ease, price and hope. They are not a trial of the Impacts tab.

Privacy and Data Safety

The long document is the privacy policy last updated 6 February 2025. Bearable Limited is registered in England and Wales (12089632). ICO number ZB189459. A data protection officer is named at [email protected]. Account signup uses email, or Google, Apple or Facebook login.

Health entries are called sensitive data. The firm says they are stored only with consent, encrypted on Firestore, and tied at first to an email that is later anonymised. Export is a user action. The policy warns you to check the receiving address. Deletion can be requested in the app or by email. The policy says deletion should finish within 30 days.

The same policy says Bearable does not sell personal data and does not share it with third parties unless you turn on Apple Health or Google Fit. Play Data Safety on 13 September 2026 still said third-party sharing of location, personal info and two other types. Apple’s US privacy label listed coarse location and email under the developer’s advertising or marketing. Those forms do not match the marketing bullets. Read the label, the Play box and the policy.

A pin lock is named on the site. That only helps if the phone itself is locked. A shared tablet is a weak setup for a symptom diary.

Export and delete paths matter more than a lock icon. Confirm both before you type a crisis note.

What public sources actually measured

We found no PubMed trial that names Bearable’s current correlation reports as the intervention. Store lines about “over 75% of the Bearable community” feeling more control are manufacturer claims. They are not a randomised study.

The app can hold a week of notes for a GP visit. That is a diary job. It is not a stand-in for NHS talking therapies or a licensed clinician. If food and stress sit in the same week, our stress eating practical guide stays on behaviour, not on an app score.

NHS mental-health pages still point people to a GP or urgent routes when mood or safety worsens. An Impacts tab cannot replace that.

What remains unverified

Which US or UK SKU is the live monthly plan on your account. Whether the Apple advertising-or-marketing label is stale. Whether Play’s “two other” shared types include analytics only. True install counts. Whether a 365-day Premium chart matches a clinic record.

Also unverified: any claim that a correlation is causal. Two lines that rise together can still be chance, sleep debt or a new medicine. Treat the graph as a question list for a clinician, not an answer.

Frequently asked questions

Is Bearable free?
The download is free. Help pages say most tracking stays free, with 30-day reports. Premium adds longer history and correlation tools. Official copy names a seven-day Premium trial.
How much does Bearable cost?
The firm’s public US list on 13 September 2026 was $6.99 a month or $34.99 a year, often $18.99 a year. Store SKUs vary by country. Check the live Apple or Play sheet.
Does Bearable work on Android and iPhone?
Yes. Play and the App Store both list it. iOS 15.1 or later is named on the US Apple sheet. Features can differ by store and version.
Is Bearable a medical device?
Store and site copy say insights are not medical advice. We found no independent trial of the current reports. Do not change a medicine from a chart alone.
Can I export or delete my data?
The 2025 policy and help pages say you can export to CSV and delete from the app or by email. Play Data Safety also says deletion can be requested. This desk did not run those buttons.
