Our standards

Numbers you can check, guidance that travels with you

Health advice usually arrives either vague or unsourced. We do the opposite: every recommendation names the guideline behind it, quotes the figure, and notes how national advice differs when that matters — because a cholesterol reading in mmol/L means nothing next to a target in mg/dL.

How we work
Guideline-level sourcing
WHO and peer-reviewed position stands, plus national guidance (NHS, CDC and others) when local thresholds matter — cited in a visible reference list on every article.
Both measurement systems
Metric and imperial, mmol/L and mg/dL, grams of salt and milligrams of sodium. No conversion homework.
Reviewed before publication
Articles are checked for accuracy, sourcing and clarity before they go live. Higher-risk health topics may get extra subject-specific review. Publication dates are shown on every piece.
No diagnosis, no selling
We explain what a number means and when to see a clinician. We never tell you what to take.
